Jane Shieh, DDS

Dr. Shieh grew up in Taipei Taiwan. At a young age her family immigrated to the United States and settled near San Jose, California. Her family’s rich connection to Chinese culture and traditions has allowed her to be bilingual, speaking both English and Mandarin Chinese.  She attended college at UCSD in beautiful San Diego. She then traveled all the way to the opposite coast and graduated Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo in 2004. There she received the George B. Snow Award for her exceptional talent in fixed prosthodontics.

Dr. Shieh met Dr. Padula in dental school and an instant connection was made. They married in 2007 and are now blessed with 3 wonderful children. In addition to being a busy mother and dentist, Dr. Shieh continues to be a part of many dental associations including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, Third District Dental Society, and the Capital District Continuum for Advanced Dental Education.

In an effort to provide the highest quality service to our patients, Dr. Shieh has trained extensively in Orthodontics.  She advanced through the International Association of Orthodontics program and is able to offer many options to improve smiles for both children and adults.  She has been certified by InvisalignÒ to provide clear braces and she strongly believes in interceptive approaches for children to avoid pulling permanent teeth.  Her attention to detail and friendly personality make her a favorite amongst our patients!
